We work hard together and enjoy a well-earned cup of coffee halfway through each morning at the Visitor Center. No experience? No problem! Our team is always happy to share knowledge, lend a hand, and share a few laughs as we go.

Water
Watering trees and plants in the greenhouses.

Compost
Learn how to mix compost and soil. It’s a dirty job, but somebody’s gotta do it!
Plant
Prep for large plantings, and plant them!
Build
Help us build greenhouses and other structures that make our work possible, from growing native plants to hosting outreach programs.
Grow
Help repotting and sowing native plants and witness how your care contributes to their growth.
Teach
Support expanding the youth outreach program or guide a group of children through our nature trail and Knowledge Center.
Keep bees
Help with the maintenance of beehives, harvest honey or relocate a nest (seasonal).
Feel heavy duty
Learn how to use heavy machinery or how to use the wood-chipper.
Share
Show people around, sell some plants, have a laugh together.

Tera Barra is a self-sustaining, non-profit foundation which does not receive subsidies. We rely on a dedicated team of volunteers and small amount of staff.
